Day 3, 4, & 5: Venice

Then we went for a walk.We had some amazing Italian pizza in Venice.
We followed that with our first gelato of the trip. The famous Rialto bridge.

Italian pastries for breakfast.
Then we took a gondola ride.
We took the gondola ride during low tide.
We met this cool artist and I bought a painting.
We took a tour to Murano and Burano. Murano is famous for the glass. This glassblower is making a horse.
Burano is famous for handmade lace and the colorful buildings and canals.
We returned to Venice for a walk and dinner.
After fish and risotto, we had the best Tiramisu ever.
After dinner, we crossed over the Rialto bridge and enjoyed the sunset.
We went to St. Mark’s square the next morning.
The “Bridge of Sighs” – where prisoners crossed for execution and got their last view of Venice.
Then we walked across Venice (because of the boat races) to get to our cruise ship.
